Shipping Information
Shipping rates:
We offer shipping to all Canadian provinces.
For online orders, there is the option to pick-up at our Montreal location Warehouse.
For smaller shipments less than 75 pounds there is the option of obtaining shipping to a single address. The cost of the shipping is based on the total weight of the shipment as per the costs below:
- 0-10 pounds $15
- 10-30 pounds $20
- 30-75 pounds $35
For larger shipments (lifts, tire machines, tire changers etc.) we offer shipping to a Single Address or a Terminal Location.
Terminal shipment allows us to optimize the shipment costs as much as possible. Our customer service experts work continuously with our transport partners to provide the best shipping solution or option for our customers.
At checkout, for our fast moving products, we can provide shipping costs to a specific Terminal Location. When we process your order, you will receive a follow-up call by our customer service team who will inform you of the terminal location address and when to pick-up your order.
At checkout, if a shipping cost is unavailable for your purchased products, a shipping Quote Option is available to a terminal or to Single Address. Our customer service team will contact you to provide a shipping quote.
Processing Time
All orders require 1-3 business days (Monday - Friday 8am. - 5pm. EST) of processing time to be picked, packed and prepared for shipping, unless otherwise noted on the product page of the item(s) you've ordered.
One of our Customer Service representatives will reach out within 2 business days of an order to coordinate the pick-up, shipment, or installation date of the order. At that time, we will provide you with the pick-up location, address and hours.
Picking up your order at our Warehouse
If you are picking up your order, you must give 24-hour notice prior to pick up. Weekend pick-ups are not available.
The warehouse pick-up center will load your order onto your appropriately sized vehicle with a forklift. When picking up your lift/wheel service equipment, you will need a trailer to haul your lift home. Be sure your trailer is of adequate size; our lifts/wheel service equipment range from 10 feet long to 16 feet long. You will be responsible for securing the load, so bring straps with you.
Important Information about Shipping and Receiving your order:
Make sure you read all of the terms listed below before making your purchase. You can call our customer service department at 1-800-361-4095 if you have any questions or concerns about the terms and policies listed below.
Freight is usually shipped on a semi-trailer that may be as long as 53 feet in length. Please be prepared to unload your purchase such as lift, and or wheel service equipment purchase(s) as the driver is not required to unload equipment. You will need a piece of machinery that is capable of lifting and transporting 1500 to 3000 pounds (depending on which models you have ordered), such as a forklift or a backhoe.
Residential deliveries cannot be made if local ordinances or obstacles would prevent large 53-foot-long trucks from entering your area and maneuvering properly. Please advise our customer service department so that the proper shipping arrangement can be made with the shipping carrier. Tail-gate deliveries are available for certain models. Extra charges will apply with the shipping carrier for tailgate deliveries.
Shipping Carriers cannot guarantee specific delivery dates or times. An appointment can be made upon request with the shipping carrier, if you request this at time of your order. The carrier will call 1 hour prior to the appointment time. An additional fee will be charged for appointments.
You can also have the lift/wheel service equipment shipped to a shipping carrier terminal, which is equipped to unload the equipment for you. When the purchased item arrives at the shipping carrier terminal, the carrier will contact you and hold the shipment 48hours, after which additional charges will be applied. You should supply this information at the time of your order, in order to avoid additional fees charged by carriers, for changes made to the shipment.
When picking up your lift/wheel service equipment at shipping carrier terminal, you will need a trailer to haul your lift home. Be sure your trailer is of adequate size; our lifts/wheel service equipment range from 10 feet long to 16 feet long.
Damaged Shipments
For your own protection, inspect shipments before signing the freight bill. If a shipment is damaged, note damage on the freight bill and file a claim with our customer service.
Cancellations
Should the need arise to cancel an order after you've placed it, we will do our best to accommodate your request. Order cancellation is a time-sensitive action, so please do get in touch with our Customer Care team as soon as possible. Ways to contact Customer Care and hours of availability here.
Please note, that once your order moves into the processing stage in our warehouse, we may no longer be able to cancel it. Should this be the case, we can help facilitate a return upon delivery (excluding final sale items, please see below).
Returns
Our goal at Grand Prix Import is to ensure that you are totally satisfied with your shopping experience.
We accept returns of unopened products up to 30 days after the date of purchase. 20% Handling charges on all returns for credit.
Opened, used products, and special and customized orders or any items marked as Non-Refundable / Final Sale are not within our return guidelines.
Please contact our Customer Care team to initiate your return. Where a return is possible, return shipping fees are not included and is at the customer’s expense.
